-Savannah-Mrs. Jean Robinson Elkins, 80, died on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 under the Hospice Care at Savannah Square.
Mrs. Elkins was born in Savannah, GA, growing up in Pooler, GA lived in Marietta, GA for 30 years. She was an active volunteer for 21 years at Kennestone Hospital and was recognized many times for outstanding service. She moved back to Savannah in 2000.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kertis W. Elkins; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jimmy Blankenship of Savannah; her son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Marie Elkins of McDonough, GA; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 10:00-11:00 A.M., Friday, October 24, 2008 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, followed by services in the Chapel at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
